Cupcake!!

For Christmas, my best friend Venessa gave me the Twinkie Chan crochet pattern book.  The book has some totally scarves, gloves, hats, and other yummie crochet cuteness.  The patterns in the book were a bit confusing to follow, however it was not hard to figure out how to make a particular design just by looking at the picture alone.  My first creation inspired by the book was the cupcake crochet hat.  The first hat I made was strawberry with a cherry on top which my daughter now takes to school every day.  It came out pretty darn cute.  But then while yarn shopping at Hobby Lobby, I found the cutest yarn that would perfectly fit a cupcake with sprinkles (I Love This Yarn in white tweed and brown tweed).  The outcome was totally yummy!

  1. Wow Lucy, This is just about the cutest thing I have seen. You have such a talent. I know if I had a little girl, she would LOVE to have any of your designs. The hats are not only warm but they are something that any little or BIG girl would love to have. I want one :) please...
